Bighorn Sheep

Sundial Springs

This area was once glorified with Bighorn Sheep. Today, they still frequent the area, but they're having to fight their way back to those numbers which once roamed this countryside.

Sundial Springs is surrounded by National Forest on 3 sides and the San Francisco River flows alongside the acreage. It's beautiful country, and you might find yourself wanting to hike the area. Unfortunately, you are strongly advised not to stray too far from the Resort. The Bighorn Sheep are being watched very closely, and have been given access to the river as part of a Conservation Easement. We are trying to preserve the habitat as best we can for the Bighorn Sheep.
